Public Relations Oxford is the professional network for Oxford’s vibrant PR community. We bring the talented professionals working in public relations in Oxford and surrounding areas together to support each other and develop themselves, and the industry. Our PUBlic Relations events take place quarterly in pubs around the city – with some of the brightest experts from Oxford and beyond to discuss the latest trends in all areas of internal and external communications. Previous speakers have included communications directors at Oxford University, Oxford Brookes University, Oxfam, and Oxfordshire County Council, as well as senior members of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, managing directors of local PR agencies Bottle and Twelve; as well as journalists Alan Rusbridger, Chloe Combi and Heidi Skjeseth. Oxford is a real PR hub, with a range of boutique and mid-size agencies; and large in-house teams in the public, private, and third sectors. We want to provide a forum for those working in the industry to learn new skills, meet like-minded professionals, and learn about the latest trends in communications. Public Relations Oxford is a social enterprise. It was founded in 2016 by Dan Selinger and Emma Duke. We are PR professionals who have been working in communications in Oxford since 2010.
