The School of American Thanatology, founded in 2020 by Cole Imperi, offers progressive, thoughtful education in three areas: Thanatology, Thanabotany™, and Deathwork. Thanabotany™ is exclusive to the School of American Thanatology. The School is also home to independently funded research opportunities and a robust and diverse community from around the world. Our students are from 20 countries, 45 US states and across 12 timezones.
