Established in 1952 as a national, nonprofit, membership organization, it is a voice for women who share a passion for the U.S. beef industry. ANCW offers leadership development, education, volunteer opportunities, national programs, and participates in the strategic planning process of the cattle industry. The American National CattleWomen has six national programs to promote beef, with two funded by America’s Beef Producers through the Cattlemen’s Beef Board—the National Beef Cookoff® and the National Beef Ambassador Program. To promote and support the industry, and encourage women involved in beef and related agribusiness.
