The 187 Film Festival is NYC's greatest school film festival, produced since 2012 by the PTO from PSIS 187, Washington Height's legendary Pre-K - 8 school. With other 270 films made since it's inception, the Festival has become the thing of legends, featuring an annual barrage of comedy, animation, music and dramatic shorts created by students and their families. Each spring the Festival screens at the amazing United Palace theater, another Washington Heights crown jewel, and over $10,000 has been raised for various needs within the school since the Festival's humble beginnings.
