FRACTURED ART FOR A FRACTURED PSYCHE Founded in 2021 in response to the impossibly accelerated shifting of the cultural landscape, re:Draft Creative exists solely to provide new artists with a platform to create and reflect the increasingly abstract world around them without pressure to explicitly keep up with aesthetic or social trends. We understand that the creation of art is something that requires an encouraging incubation period, and we strive to provide that for young creatives. Whether the medium is film, theatre, television or digital content, we place emphasis on the process rather than the product, hoping that in surprising the desire to make art that feels “of the moment”, we end up organically representing the moment in a way that is wholly unique and surprising. BEAUTY IN THE MUNDANE In order to paint an engaging and believable environment for a story to exist in, one must embrace the “In-Between”: the moments that any traditional story or narrative would quickly deem excessive, mundane, and unqualified to exist on stage or screen.
