The Tongil Industries Co., Ltd ("TIC") was established in 1988 as an overall heavy industry company diversified in three main business fields; Automobile Components, Machine Tools, and Ball Screw manufacturing. AUTOMOBILE COMPONENTS division: We manufacture heavy industry equipment applied in automobiles, construction vehicles, military vehicles, machine tools, robots and automation, semi-conductor equipment and many more to major domestic companies such as HYUNDAI, DYMOS, DOOSAN and WIA. Our company does OEM for foreign companies such as NABTESCO, TAGAZ, VOLVO and OSHKOSH, just to name a few. MACHINE TOOL division: Our company is currently recognized as the leading player in the domestic market for Universal Cylindrical Grinding Machines, both manual and NC type, with each holding 60% of domestic market share from the early 2000's. We select and use the highest quality of ball screw components (from a range of C3 - C10) for our grinding machines to accomplish excellence in product quality. BALL SCREW division: Our ball screw division entered a technological affiliation with "KOYO", a Japanese company under JTEKT Group, from 2003 and entered an OEM contract for ball screw products in 2008. With our recognized quality and precision we do OEM for major players such as Hyundai-WIA and OEM of Grinding Machines for a well known Japanese machine tool company.
