The Camanachd Association is the governing body for shinty across the world. Based in Inverness, Scotland the Association is focused on working with member clubs to develop a game that is enjoyed by a number of participants, of all ages and abilities both on the field of play, and off. Throughout its history and the different organisational and management structures that have been in place, the Camanachd Association has held one aim above all others – To foster, encourage, promote and develop the sport of shinty.
