Homelessness is rapidly increasing in the UK, with local authorities spending more than ever on temporary accommodation. Local authorities are paying over the odds for below standard temporary homes that provide limited quality of life for those living in them. To tackle the rise in homelessness, this needs to change. Our standardised housing model addresses the needs of those currently living without a home, at a price that makes sense for local authorities: our rents are set to Local Housing Allowance rates, so local authorities are never out of pocket.
