Festival Aangeschoten Wild is a yearly festival in Delft which is centered on music and culture and has been around since 2009. In the music line-up, the event balances new (local) talents with regionally or nationally popular acts. Concerning culture, the line-up includes dancing performances, cabaret, (street) theatre, art exhibitions and workshops. An often quoted characteristic of the festival is the relaxed atmosphere, that allows and encourages visitors to explore new sounds and sights. Festival Aangeschoten Wild targets students and non-studying youngsters and younger adults (18 - 30 years) living in Delft, The Hague, Leiden, Rotterdam and neighbouring cities. Stichting Festival Aangeschoten Wild forms the foundation of the organisation, in which sharing experiences and best practices are central, and which guides the festival in its longer-term development.
