Third Wave Fund supports and strengthens youth-led gender justice activism—focusing on efforts that advance the political power, well-being, and self determination of communities of color and low-income communities. We partner with institutions and individual donors and to invest resources in under-funded regions and social justice youth movements in the US. Third Wave Fund is a feminist, activist fund that is led by women of color, queer and transgender people under 35 and allies. We bridge feminist and queer movements for liberation, and are building a cross-sector movement of philanthropy to strengthen these endeavors. We believe that in order for any social justice movement to thrive, we must invest deeply in youth-led, efforts and projects that build power in marginalized communities for the long-haul.
