FdK is a design consultancy built firmly on the principle that good design leads to good business. We believe that design should be a major consideration for businesses at all levels of their operation, and see our role as 'virtual' design directors for the clients that we work for. Our first objective is to dispel the idea that design is restricted to logos and branding, brochures and websites, but is a process that encompasses analysis, strategy, measurement and creativity, and contributes directly to the bottom line. Successful 'design aware' organisations understand this, and we think that building a 'design culture' within a company is becoming increasingly important. Through training, support and tools, we empower those who do not feel confident in the use of design to integrate it into their day to day operations, and assist in obtaining the best value and creativity when it is necessary to bring in external design suppliers.
