'Ekonte' means storyboard in Japanese.  Studio Ekonte is an animation production house based in India. We create feature films, TV series, commercials, music videos, and non-fiction. We are deeply influenced by the rich traditions of Japanese anime, manga and French bande dessinée.  Our design principle is to create hand-drawn animation works enriched by the subtle use of 3D CG. Our vision is to create world-class, finely-crafted works of animation to reach a global audience.  We have an animation feature film and a Web TV series in development.
