Maharashtra Societies Welfare Association (MahaSeWA) has been registered as Non-Profit Governung Organization and as charitable organization and Institution, certified by the Charity Commissioner Office, Mumbai. Our Association has been formed mainly to assist the Co-operative Societies and its Office Bearers of the societies, to smoothly run the day-to-day affairs of the society under the provision of Act, Rule and Byelaw. We have our in-house monthly publication “MSWA’S Housing Societies Review” dealing with all kinds of society related matters. The present circulation of our magazine is 35,000 copies per month. This magazine is distributed to all parts of Mumbai and Thane on the 10th of every month. We have been receiving excellent feedback and response to our magazine. We have a very elite panel of writers who have been contributing regularly to help us to educate the members regarding their Rights, Duties and responsibilities. We have the distinction of organizing the first two “Housing Society Expo” organized in Mumbai. The events were a grand success attended by more than 50,000 society members. Eminent speakers and experts addressed the gathering, as also many other renowned practicing and retired advocates, Architects, Structural Engineers, Chartered Accountants etc participated in the event. All concerned government department officials connected to the cooperative sector and retired government officials were also present. MSWA organizes educational Seminars, Meetings, Road Shows etc. on various Housing Societies related topics like Conveyance, Re-Development, Stamp Duty Amnesty Schemes etc for the benefit of the office bearers and the members living in cooperative housing societies. Our association has been conducting educational seminars every month wherein we highlight various important issues related to society matters.
