In November 2021, the Austrian federal government decided to participate in Expo 2025 in Osaka, which will be held from April, 13, 2025 to October, 13, 2025. The official theme of this world exhibition is "Designing Future Society for Our Lives". A total of over 28 million visitors, 150 participating countries and 25 international organizations are expected to attend. The Austrian presence at Expo 2025 will be financed by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Economics and the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber and will be implemented by Expo Office Austria.
