Formed in 1992, Design Rationale is a design led specialist architectural metalwork and glazing contractor focused on providing considered and rationalised bespoke solutions within our clients criteria and budget. Commencing with design we take the architect’s or clients brief and specifications and use it to develop engineered & detailed manufacturing drawings in 2D & 3D. We then procure component parts from within our mature UK & Far Eastern Supply Chain. Finally, installation is undertaken by a team of experienced and highly trained site operatives Design Rationale has grown organically expanding the staff and installation team to meet demand from our client base. We have a team of designers and project managers who are supported by a health and safety manager and purchasing, estimating and commercial team. The core of our installation team has been with us since the company formed and has a depth of knowledge and experience. All are CSCS and ACTA accredited, also with LUL entry permits and with some qualified to Site Person in Charge level with the foremen successfully attending the Site Managers Safety Training Scheme.
