Stramash uses the unique Scottish outdoor environment to: 1. Facilitate the personal, social, emotional and education development of individuals; 2. Promote lifelong active healthy lifestyles; 3. Encourage environmental awareness and stewardship; 4. Facilitate and provide opportunities to access outdoor activities and outdoor sports development; 5. Contribute to local economic development. The vision of Stramash is to see children, young people and adults, regardless of personal circumstances, have access to the full range of opportunities and benefits, some life-changing, provided through the outdoors and to see the outdoor environment flourish for the long term benefit of future generations. Stramash’s mission is to use the outdoors to help make a positive difference in the lives of the children, young people and adults of Scotland; while at the same time ensuring the stewardship of the outdoor environment.
