Fireside Outdoors Inc. is founded and operated by Tyson Scott. Tyson is a Marine Corps veteran of 10 years, and was awarded a Purple Heart medal after being struck by a mortar in Iraq in 2006. Tyson is a Guide with the organization Wounded Warriors in Action, which serves Purple Heart veterans around the United States. It was while attending, and guiding these trips with Purple Heart veterans that he realized the true healing power of the outdoors. "There's nothing like a long day of casting and battling fish, followed by an evening sitting around a campfire with your brothers." -Tyson This is where the name "Fireside Outdoors" comes from. We hope to bring that campfire atmosphere to the water on each and every trip!
