Institute of Regulation & Risk - Northeast Asia
www.irrna.orgThe Institute of Regulation & Risk - Northeast Asia (IRRNA) is a Hong Kong-registered not for profit organisation founded in March 2008. Since its incorporation, the Institute has provided a "neutral forum" for the advancement of knowledge and understanding of governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) within the financial services sector. Initially focusing on Greater China, Japan and South Korea, the Institute has expanded its coverage and operations into both Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia. Education, understanding and best industry practice remains at the core of the Institutes activities, underwritten by our in-house publication: the Journal of Regulation & Risk - North Asia; numerous industry seminars; breakfast briefings; in-house training, and our acclaimed series of "evening dinner dialogues" in major financial services centres in Asia and further afield. As an independent neutral third-party, the Institute works closely with government, supranational bodies, regulators, central bankers, academia, business practitioners and vendors to uphold its founding principles and enhance knowledge and understanding of GRC, forces impacting GRC - both regionally and internationally - and its changing nature and growing stature since the financial crisis of 2007/2008.
