With a rich history of research and development, Smart Media has fuelled innovative ideas that go beyond traditional annual reporting. We disseminate new thinking through eBooks and consultancy, and our Smart Blog™ discusses a wide range of trending topics. The Company disseminates the practical experience gained by working with report preparers at events organised by professional accountancy bodies and others. These initiatives are reinforced with our partnership with the IIRC and others in mainstreaming integrated reporting in the Middle East. Smart Media is one of the International Integrated Reporting Council’s Training Partners. Through the Smart Academy, the Company builds the capacity and competency of individuals and corporates in the preparation of integrated reports. To do so the Company uses a combination of workshops and on-the-job training. In addition, to effectively meet the diverse requirements of different stakeholder groups Smart Media encourages clients to produce their integrated reports in a choice of formats such as print and online HTML, as well as executive summaries in video or other digital formats.
