Founded in 2016, the mission of Michigan Baseball and Sabermetrics (M-SABR) is to embrace the game of baseball and reach baseball enthusiasts both at the University of Michigan and abroad. M-SABR specifically focuses on using advanced analytics and metrics to develop arguments and write supporting articles on our website, thus enhancing the knowledge of both casual and devout baseball fans. M-SABR prioritizes the education and professional development of members through the use of advanced statistics and research-based projects. M-SABR members have worked with the Michigan Baseball Team, the Cape Cod League, and numerous Major League Baseball franchises, bringing in diverse experiences and ideas to the organization.
