Klearia is an R&D+i intensive company that manufactures advanced electrochemical analysers and microfluidic glass chips based on its proprietary technology. Based on a latent need of multiple water operators, we have developed a solution that enables quick, in‐situ and easy detection of water metal micropollutants. Klearia also develops a range of products for research based on its core technology: microfluidics. These products are integrated into the brand LabInGlass®. Besides microreactors for flow chemistry and electrochemical sensors for analytical chemistry, Klearia also proposes a custom-made service of designing and developing. We were winners of SME Instrument from the European Council in 2019, the 2018 Innovation Prize (awarded by BPI France and ADEME) and the 2013 National Contest (by the French Ministry of Research). We were also granted with the NETVA (New Technology Venture Accelerator) Prize. Finally, we received the label of Jeune Entreprise Innovante issued by the French Ministry of Research. Being a spin‐off from the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), Klearia is a good example of innovation and knowledge transfer.
