Spraph
www.spraph.comWelcome to Spraph! Spraph is a web-based platform with the purpose of facilitating group decision-making and opinion formation. As the application is web-based it will accessible on any device with a modern web browser and will also be made available via the mainstream “app stores”. “Spraff” is a colloquial Scottish phrase used to describe someone excessively talking about a particular topic. One might say, “stop all this Spraff, it’s time to make a decision”. Spraph the application aims at exactly this; Spraph is designed to take the endless chatter, create a structured space for it, and focus it towards the goal of opinion formation and decision making. Spraph makes group decision making easier. We believe that what makes Spraph stand out is the structured space it provides its users, within which they can reach a consensus or make a decision. The architecture of the application mirrors the essence of any and all decisions: the question(s); the argument(s); the proposition(s); and the evidence. Users can interact at all or any one of these levels, but crucially the functionality is designed to produce an outcome or decision as a result of the Spraph. Watch this space!
