HITE has a 17-year track record of managing market neutral strategies, to attempt to capture alpha. We use energy securities as our tools for generating uncorrelated returns, but aim to have no significant net exposure to energy. HITE manages two related, energy-sector focused market neutral strategies. The first is designed to generate alpha using energy securities as tools (with no net exposure to energy) and the second is “short carbon” in a market-neutral wrapper.
