AB Consultancy and Investment Services was set up in 1995 by Amb. Cem Duna. Following a three-decade long career in the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Amb. Duna decided to implement his acquired know-how to the private sector. Initially, the firm began advising Turkish companies on the significance of the Customs Union with the E.U., to which, Amb. Duna was instrumental in signing during his last posting as Chief Negotiator, and Permanent Delegate to the E.U. in Brussels. Following its infancy stage and interest by the international community towards the Turkish market, AB Consultancy expanded its offering to Global Conglomerates operating and/or interested in entering the Turkish market, and vice-versa, to locals out of Turkey.
