Baker College is the oldest residential college Rice University. Our college government strives to provide and maintain an atmosphere and environment which will encourage the social and intellectual growth of its members through the development of a sense of responsibility in all spheres of community action. This is accomplished through group living and dining, a development of satisfactory tradition of college life, a strong and responsible college government, and the sharing of ideas and enthusiasm with faculty members in residence and association.
