Born in Monterrey, Mexico, Barbara Delgado is the owner and principal photographer at B-D Photography, a professional studio located in McAllen, Texas. Growing up in McAllen, TX, Barbara has always attracted the arts, science, and photography. In 2002, Barbara bought her first camera and had been an avid photographer ever since. Her love for photography grew as she documented images of her family and friends during gatherings and landscapes and wildlife during her travels, organically fine-tuning her mastery of lighting and composition. Before launching Bd photography, Barbara studied fashion design in long beach, California, and was the Art Director for a local art gallery. Barbara has now been a professional photographer for over 10 years. Although her early work used primarily natural lighting, she now operates a spacious studio, controlling lighting and shooting spaces exploring her vision in portrait, family, and maternity photography. Inspired by capturing meaningful moments showcasing her love for her family and friends’ special moments, B-D Photography was established in 2011.
