Vermont Learning for the Future
www.vtlff.orgVermont Learning for the Future is an emergent, collective impact network dedicated to building a more just, joyful and sustainable future for our schools and communities. In the fall of 2015, 125 educational leaders participated in a systems mapping process to identify key levers of change to achieve a transformation in education in Vermont. Today the network connects over 400 learners of all ages, spanning Vermont’s school districts, colleges and universities, community partners, the Agency of Education and state Legislature. Concretely, we: - Connect with and advance collaborative learning projects that positively impact VT youth; - Build partnerships and leverage network resources to support education change makers; - Encourage creative thought and discourse across the educational landscape; - Connect network partners with resources, data and expertise; - Elevate transformative practices and ideas across the learning landscape; - Support authentic youth-adult partnership as fundamental to systems change; - Work to align education programs and practices to take full advantage of education policy; - Practice and promote Equity Literacy and Liberatory Design principles in our work; - Practice and promote Education for Sustainability in our work; and - Practice and promote the cultivation of joy in learning and life.
