Not so long ago i sold our Dead Dolls Club cocktail bars in London and headed off to the Isle Of Wight for a new life by the seaside. On a beautiful sunny day I packed up and said goodbye to 10 years of amazing pop ups, east end venues, our jazz club and a whole lot of fun. With no intention of getting back into the drinks game I struggled to find a bloody good Old Fashioned or Bloody Mary so decided to make my own. Our Old Fashioned medicine is hand crafted in small batches using a mix of Bourbon, Cane Sugar and our own Bitters. It's presented in a beautiful hand screen printed bottle, at 30% it kicks a punch while the flavours of smoke and orange come through leaving a smooth and delicate aftertaste. Just chill over ice and party. Our Bloody Mary is a slightly different story. When we moved to the Isle Of Wight I came across a chap called Bobby. He was in fact the first person I met here and still the person I like the most. Bobby makes hot sauce, not just hot sauce, the nearly Mexican all American boy stole his granny's recipe and rode off into the sunset with dreams of making sauce. Ending up on the Isle Of Wight he continues his family tradition makes a right horrible little number called Bloody Hell Hot Sauce. It took 2 years and many bottles of Bourbon to figure out a way to make this into a more pallitable Bloody Mary base as well as a hot dipping sauce and marinade but we did it. WIN
