In 1995 challenged by his brother Qualimpor was created by João Roquette. The first objective was to import and distribute wine and olive oil from the Esporão Estate located in the Portugal region of Alentejo. Later in 2002 started to bring the wines of Quinta do Crasto from the Portugal region of Douro, and in 2012 the Spanish Cava Freixenet, and in the 2013 Taylors, the world leader in Porto wine. The origin of the name Qualimpor came from combining the words "qualidade de alimentos portugueses” (quality of Portuguese food). The company's goal is to continue to work and positioning them as premium products in the Brazilian market and avoiding an indiscriminate distribution. We work with our own team in the greater Sao Paulo and through representatives in the remaining national territory. Our clients are restaurants, delicatessens, wine shops, supermarkets, final consumers and all the persons who are fascinated by Portuguese wines and olive oil.
