Magmatic Resources (ASX:MAG) is a mineral exploration company focused on high value gold-copper exploration targets in the East Lachlan, NSW. Magmatic purchased these projects from the world's seventh largest gold producer Gold Fields (GF), who maintains an investment in MAG. The East Lachlan province is Australia's largest copper-gold porphyry region, including major mines: Cadia Valley (10Mt Cu and 52Moz Au), Northparkes (14Mt Cu and 3Moz Au), and Cowal (7.8Moz Au).
