The Media Architecture Biennale (MAB) is the world’s premier event on media architecture, urban interaction design, digital placemaking, urban media art and urban informatics. MAB is a conference, an exhibition, an award show and a number of workshops. It is the world’s top experts exchanging ideas and outlining the media architecture of the future. The Media Architecture Biennale 23 (#MAB23), will take place in June/July 2023, online and in-person in Toronto, Canada. This will be the first time an MAB event will be hosted in North America, thus providing a unique opportunity to showcase on an international stage significant Canadian research, cultural producers, and creative companies pioneering technologies that are defining the field. Previous editions were organized in Amsterdam (2020), Vienna (2010), Aarhus (2012, 2014), Sydney (2016) and Beijing (2018)
