In September 2015, Orbitz Worldwide Inc. and all of its operations were acquired by Expedia Inc. As a result of the acquisition, the HotelClub business was merged with Hotels.com, Expedia’s leading global online hotel booking brand with properties ranging from international chains and all-inclusive resorts to local favourites and bed & breakfasts.
