NI-CO is a not for profit, public body owned by the Department for the Economy of the Northern Ireland Government. Established in 1992 with the aim of showcasing public sector best practice on an international platform and promoting UK participation in international development, NI-CO has enjoyed significant success over the last 2 decades securing over 700 public sector capacity building projects in 100+ countries on behalf of the major bi-lateral and multi-lateral funding agencies. Underpinned by the UK public sector ethos, the NI-CO delivery model is a simple but highly effective one which ensures integrity, accountability, quality and value for money. We actively promote the benefits of international development to both NI and central government departments and agencies wishing to build relationships with their overseas neighbours, avail of the increasing number of opportunities presented by the international donor community and safeguard UK interests.
