HOP Properties is a privately held, family run company that provides owner representation, project management, and job cost accounting for complex, challenging, and unique real estate projects. Current and former clients include the Smithsonian Institution, the Knights of Columbus, the Republic of Lithuania, and the Disabled American Veterans for LIFE Memorial Foundation. Glen Hopkins, AIA founded HOP Properties (HOP) in 2004. The principals at HOP have over fifty years of experience in the design, construction, project management, and owner representation for a multitude of commercial and cultural projects. These projects total over ten million square feet with projected costs that exceed two billion dollars. The various project types that HOP principals have been involved in include museums, memorials, educational buildings, laboratories, theaters, hotels, corporate headquarters facilities, commercial office buildings, banks, mixed-use, and historic preservation/adaptive re-use projects. HOP got it's name from Glen's father hard working man who passed on the value of strong relationships and teamwork. Similarly HOP’s approach to every project is to develop, nourish, and maintain a collaborative team effort from every project team member and stakeholder throughout the life of the project.
