Uplift Myanmar is a not-for-profit social venture fund but very different from any other. We are proactive in identifying entrepreneurs– to-be, help them get off the ground, establish start up, and invest in individuals, companies, leaders, farmers and ideas that are changing Myanmar and tackle poverty. We will provide the poor with access to financial tools, teach farmers how to increase production and help women make informed decisions. We hold their hands and walk until they are able to stand on their own. We help them connect the right buyers, creating value chain, entrepreneurs group and assess the productivity. Higher income of farmers can be achieved from higher yield, better management, more strategic diversification, but they do need intervention, help and support. Uplift Myanmar (Farmers Program) offers not just funding for MSMEs & SMEs of both formal and informal sectors, but also a variety of competitive financing, livestock, farm supplies, Farm machinery options to meet the needs of all farmers especially in the rural area. To grow viable businesses that generate sustainable earnings or savings for people who are geographically disadvantaged, lack business information, not aware of respective technologies, and have linkage disadvantages.
