Inspiring a healthy future in Greater Manchester through physical activity and sport We are Greater Manchester's Active Partnership, a registered charity working with a wide range of organisations and individuals in the public, private and voluntary sector. Covering a range of roles, all centered on getting Greater Manchester residents more active. We inspire, we provide, we fund, we deliver and overall encourage the growth of physical activity and sport for the region... We work closely with Sport England, the 10 Greater Manchester Local Authorities, National Governing Bodies of sport and a wide range of other organisations to achieve these collective aims. We believe physical activity and sport; - Makes a significant contribution to Greater Manchester's social wellbeing and economic growth. - Enhances lives, brings communities together and forms good sustainable life long habits. - Should be promoted and celebrated for all, here in one of the greatest regions in the world for sport.
