Join us and help in the fight to find a cure, prevent, and treat Type 1 Diabetes! JDRF is the largest private funder of Type 1 Diabetes Research in the U.S. Our chapter was founded in 1996 and since then has raised $26 million through events like our One Walk and Hope Gala. Our chapter also provides outreach support to our local families living with T1D. The chapter territory covers 51 counties in eastern North Carolina, from the Triangle region to the coast.
