FORMA specializes in light weight, functional artwork: 3D FORMS, Industrial Replications, Architectural Elements and Historical Restorations. We work in close collaboration with the most progressive architects and designers in the industry to make handmade, one-of-a-kind art that helps transform their unique inspirational visions and dreams into vivid 3D reality. We are also the group architects and designers call when they don’t know who can create the unique functional artwork so critical to the success of their projects. We accomplish this through our unique state-of-the-art CNC and mold making technologies and firm understanding, and years of experience, in advanced materials science. We work with a wide variety of materials allowing us to best suit the particulars of each project. Each material offers a combination of high strength, low weight and a long life of maintenance-free performance. We also finish each creation with super-durable, colorfast industrial-strength paints, stains, sealers and colorations. Our process is simple. We take the designers concepts, goals and inspiration images, render complete 3D CAD models and create samples from the chosen material showing definitive shapes, textures, finishes and colors. Once approved, we make shop drawings and produce the pieces. We create all this with a small band of expert makers—highly experienced sculptors, industrial product designers, materials experts…and mix in a generous amount of FORMA magic.
