Startup Estonia is a governmentally supported umbrella organization set to supercharge the Estonian startup ecosystem, nurture the local entrepreneurial community and spur the growth of next-generation unicorn companies and superhero startups. Startup Estonia aims to make Estonia one of the world's best places to start a company and scale up, partnering with and uniting the best of startups, incubators, accelerators, private and public sectors. We represent and strengthen the Estonian startup and entrepreneurial scene by: -Building a close-knit community that connects startups and Estonian startup support organizations; -Co-organizing impactful startup events with the community, advocating diversity in age, gender, culture, and backgrounds; -Eliminating regulatory issues and barriers that complicate the process of operating a startup, investing, or raising funding in Estonia; -Educating local investors, navigating foreign investors in the Estonian startup landscape, and kickstarting new accelerator funds to fuel more significant investments in Estonian startups; -Paving the way for global founders and talent to join the Estonian vibrant startup community through overseeing and implementing startup-friendly programmes and initiatives such as the Startup Visa.
