Medical Deep Tissue is a medical massage program designed by Dr. James Macie DC. It initially was started in 2001 at his New York "Structural Release Center" as a medical massage therapist intern program with weekend workshops. The program introduced his medical "pin and stretch" techniques as well as the the needed clinical sciences to adequately work with various medical conditions seen in their practices. Through the years as the center became successful it was put on hold until recent. Dr. Macie has now applied his 25 plus yrs of clinical knowledge and experience to create a certification program designed to elevate the medical massage therapists education. His now expanded medical deep tissue and clinical medical massage program gives the massage therapist the sciences, clinical skills, and techniques needed for their acceptance into the medical field. Official launch of the MDT program will being in San Antonio, Texas in the spring of 2019 and nationally in the fall.
