The Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training (JAUPT) was established in 2007. Scope The provision of application and quality assurance of centres and courses delivering periodic training on behalf of the DVSA in Great Britain and the DVA in Northern Ireland. Primary Focus • Process applications for centre and course approval for those who wish to deliver periodic training • We strive to ensure that drivers and their employers receive periodic training that is fit for purpose and has been approved by the DVSA or DVA, through our rigorous on-going quality assurance processes
