Loizou Restaurants Ltd is a franchise of 8 McDonald's restaurants located in Essex and North-East London, employing over 900 unique individuals serving customer by customer 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. John Loizou laid the foundation of his group in 1999 in Barkingside with a high street McDonald's restaurant. He continued over the years with drive-thru stores, such as Marks Gate, Brimsdown, Waltham Abbey, Chingford, Newbury Park and Enfield Retail Park, gradually creating and expanding the group to its current shape and size, most recently with the opening of a McDelivery kitchen in South Woodford.
