The company was founded in 1975 as an extension of Joan Baucells Pujol’s professional activity as a veterinary surgeon and nutritionist. Baucells Alibés, as it is known today, was set up in 1984 and specializes in the manufacture of vitamin and mineral premixes, the sale of veterinary medication and veterinary services. The company is located in the province of Barcelona and lies between the Mediterranean coast and the Pyrenees, in an area which is renowned for its livestock production and food and agricultural industry. The objectives of the company are to produce and offer quality products and services for the livestock industry which cover all the relevant needs in terms of nutrition, health care, handling and quality.
