About Us: Great Lakes Label, a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based label printer, has grown its operation from founder Tony Cook’s closet in 1994 to a 23,000 square foot facility running five presses. What started as a business to provide industrial labels for companies like General Electric began to grow along with its long-term customer relationships, some spanning 10 to 15 years. The Great Lakes Label research and development team worked closely with these valued customers with a goal to understand label production better than any other player in the industry.
