Holy Name Medical Center Sister Claire Tynan School of Nursing Sister Claire Tynan, CSJP, was a member of the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace, and a former Director of the School of Nursing who ministered at Holy Name Medical Center for 49 years in various capacities until her passing in 2009. Caring and insightful, she was a dedicated teacher and inspirational presence to generations of nursing students. The school was renamed in 2018 in honor of Sister Claire Tynan.
