The Trickle Up Effect
www.trickleupeffect.comStarted with nothing more than a little sweat and credit card debt, the Trickle Up Effect provides employment opportunities exclusively for New York City’s homeless and chronically unemployed by hiring them to sell the brand’s limited-edition t-shirts. Unlike most nonprofits, which subsist on grants and donations, The Trickle Up Effect sustains itself, using its t-shirt sales revenue to generate the wages paid to its disadvantaged participants. Our spring line of t-shirts will feature designs by homeless and disadvantaged artists - all net proceeds will go to the artists and homeless rehabilitation centers that help ready, willing, and able members of the homeless community reenter the workforce. Our motto: Look good. Do good.
