The Koningstheateracademie is the one and only Academy for Cabaret in The Netherlands, and maybe even in the world. It's a small but vivid organization and it’s also the only Bachelor of Cabaret on the higher educational level in the Netherlands. De Koningstheateracademie was founded in 1999. The programme we offer was accredited by the Dutch and Flemish Accreditation Organisation in 2012. Over the years we carefully developed our programme, always sensitive and open to changes in the professional field of cabaret. And of course always in close communication with our alumni and other professional cabaretiers in our country.
