He performs both Primary as well as Revision joint replacement surgery for Hip & Knee joint. He also performs osteotomy around the knee for early arthritis or deformity of bone besides Trauma Management based on AO principles especially around the hip, knee and shoulder joint.  He is a Senior Orthopedic Surgeon practicing in New Delhi, India and has amassed a wealth of experience during 20 years of his medical career. He is an M.B.B.S from University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi University and MS in Ortho from the same university. He was awarded the AO training fellowship at Innsbruck, Austria. He has also done the prestigious Ranawat Orthopedic Foundation Fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital, New York, USA for Joint Replacement Surgeries. Dr Vivek Mittal has also visited many centers of repute for joint replacement surgeries in USA, Europe, South East Asia and Australia.  He is a keen teacher and teaches orthopedic trainees. He has also delivered lectures at various conferences / Institutes / Hospitals both at the National and International forum.
