Our mission is to empower a new generation of people in developing countries to create sustainable opportunity through literacy and continuing education. Our premier program is a comprehensive literacy program, taught to first and second graders in Guatemala. This program, titled "Open Books, Open Minds," includes a state-of-the-art curriculum, high quality classroom materials, as well as teacher training and ongoing professional development for the teachers.
