Centro Hispano was founded in order to support the underrepresented population of Hispanic and Latino immigrants and refugees in Utah County. Currently, Centro Hispano has a number of different programs that meet this central mission. Centro Hispano's community resources department helps to address gaps to accessing services by providing essential resources like job application assistance, resume development assistance, translation of important documents, notary services, DACA application assistance, along with many other things. The Health Promotion department focuses on reducing risky behaviors like vaping, nicotine, drugs, sex, and alcohol. Centro Hispano's Low-Income Taxpayer clinic assists people who are in dispute with the IRS. Centro Hispano has also facilitated Citizenship preparation classes for green card holders.
